These are the results of the men's 80 kg (also known as middleweight) competition in taekwondo at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. A total of 14 men competed in this event, limited to fighters whose body weight was less than 80 kilograms. Competition took place in the State Sports Centre at the Sydney Olympic Park on September 29.
