Taiyangbao is a Chinese language news website in Vancouver, British Columbia, created in anticipation of the city's growing Chinese population.[1] According to the Wall Street Journal, the site launched on Saturday, December 10, 2011. [2]. According to the Globe and Mail, Vancouver is a market in which the Chinese community is a market that has potential, which prompted it to launch an evening Mandarin newscast in both Vancouver and Calgary.[3]
