Getting Away with Murder is the fourth album by Californian rock band Papa Roach. It was released on August 31, 2004. It has been certified Platinum in the U.S., and as of 2010 has sold more than 2.8 million units. This was also their first album on Geffen Records, after their previous label DreamWorks Records was sold off to Geffen. In January 2007, the album was certified gold in Canada, selling more than 50,000 copies there. It peaked #17 on Billboard 200. The song "Blood (Empty Promises)" was featured on the Saw II soundtrack and the song "Getting Away with Murder" was featured in the end credits of The Chronicles of Riddick and in the intro to the third person shooter game Mechassault 2: Lone Wolf. The song "Not Listening" was used in the trailer for Resident Evil: Apocalypse.

Initial critical response to Getting Away with Murder was mixed. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album has received an average score of 59, based on 8 reviews.[1]

- "Just Go (Never Look Back)" is a previously unreleased track from the ...To Be Loved: The Best of Papa Roach greatest hits album which was released on June 29, 2010. The song was leaked onto the internet in 2004 and was recorded during the Getting Away with Murder sessions.
- The acoustic version of "Scars" is also featured on the ...To Be Loved: The Best of Papa Roach compilation. The song was previously only available on the "Scars" single.
