Taking Back Sunday is Taking Back Sunday's first traceable demo. Jesse Lacey, now of the band Brand New, was in the band during the making of this demo. The lead vocals on this album are not sung by Adam Lazzara, but by Antonio Longo. The drumming on "Go On" and "Summer Stars" was done by Steven DeJoseph. The EP itself would receive little attention at the time of its release and would eventually result in the band seeking a new lead singer, a spot eventually filled by then bass player Adam Lazzara.

[edit] Trivia
- This EP was recorded with two different lineups. Two songs were recorded featuring Jesse Lacey on bass and backing vocals and Steven DeJoseph on drums. Midway through recording, Jesse Lacey and Steven DeJoseph would leave the band and be replaced by Adam Lazzara and Mark O'Connell for the completion of the EP.
- This is one of the two releases by Taking Back Sunday that features Antonio Longo on lead vocals, the other was Lullaby EP.
- This was the band's first and only release to feature the backing vocals of Jesse Lacey, who would go on to play in Brand New that same year.
- At the very end of "Summer Stars" a band member's cell phone briefly goes off.
