Um? Is this April 2003? RickK 04:22, 23 May 2004 (UTC)

Your comment is largely incoherent and some would argue it is unworthy of a response. However, I shall attempt to clarify your situation.
Right now it is, as your signature details; May 2004.
Maybe you are asking if April 2003 qualifies as part of season 2003-04, well quite blatantly it doesn't. See the top of the page:
2003/04 - From August 2003 to July 2004
April 2003 was part of the 2002/03 season.
If you have a desire for an accurate response without someone taking the piss out of you, I suggest you be more concise, whilst avoiding words such as 'um'.

Your own comment is a load of gibberish. I am posting on a page whose title is Talk:2003-04 in English football. 2003-04 is a meaningless phrase, and I'm asking what it means. Now, please stick to the point and answer my question. Why was this odd naming convention used instead of the more standard April 2003? RickK 04:42, 23 May 2004 (UTC)

When referring to football; 2003-04 is a fairly common format for listing seasons. If you have an idea which you consider to be better, why not suggest it? The current title you seem to be suggesting is April 2003, unfortunately I don't think that would work as April 2003 is already in use and would have to become a disambiguation page. Also April 2003 has little to do with 2003-04 in English football, thus April 2003 may itself be called "odd".
Also to call a phrase "meaningless" then ask its meaning is a little contradictory.
SimonMayer 04:54, 23 May 2004 (UTC)

A consideration if it helps to clarify things, could be to use the word "Season" somewhere in the title. So Season 2003-04 in English football perhaps might make things a little clearer for people unfamiliar with football phrasings? Calexico (Talk) 09:47, 23 May 2004 (UTC)

[edit] League Tables

League Tables: Can someone organise the leagues into a table so it is easier to read showing Promotion and Relegation, also can someone create the Conference Table? arsenalwwerulz 17:15, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

For anyone who wants to help, can you please change the Football League Second & Third Division tables so that they resemble the ones shown on the page for the follwing season. Thanks Dreamweaverjack 23:24, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
