No mention of who originally came up with the structure. According to Bob Moog, Vladimir Ussachevsky of Columbia University proposed this envelope format which Bob subsequently used. (Source: 'Analog Days: The Invention and Impact of the Moog Synthesizer' by Trevor Pinch and Frank Trocco).

DJLamar 20:01, 24 June 2007 (UTC) - Envelope modulation is an article with the same subject, but that article has much less information. I think that Envelope modulation should redirect to this article.

[edit] Figure Captions

Can someone add captions to the figures on this page to explain what the envelopes represent, or to at least give the images the standard wikipedia format that is visible on every other article containing figures and images? 216.191.79.11 (talk) 16:41, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Done, before, you had to read the article to know which was which. Now, not anymore. --Rakel 09:47, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Samples

It'd be nice to have some samples up of the four phases. Especially the inverted ADSR, which intrigues me muchly. I can't find any samples of such a sound anywhere, with my current scope of searching. --68.4.69.71 (talk) 08:25, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
