[edit] Adat in other languages?

I've heard the word used regarding Chechnya, I think to describe Islamic traditional law (i.e. different from Indonesian usage). I'd guess they're from the same origin (Arabic?) though coincidence isn't impossible. --Singkong2005 07:47, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
