Is that the correct spelling of the 'Taffari,' in the Rastafari movement article it says 'Täfäri.' Rmpfu89 00:27, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

- There really is no "correct spelling" as it is not an English word. It has been spelled as Taffari, Tafari, Teferi etc. The Rastafarians have pronounced it their own particular way, which is not the way it is pronounced in Ethiopia. Phonetically "Teferi" is the closest to how the Amharic name actually sounds. Generally however, the prefered English spelling has varied between Taffari and Tafari. Sendeq
[edit] Name
Is there any reason the name of the article shouldn't simply be "Amha Selassie" (currently a redirect) instead of "Amha Selassie of Ethiopia"? -- Gyrofrog (talk) 22:43, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
