[edit] Mormon Fundamentalist

Note: Although there may be some dispute amongst LDS Church members as to the appropriateness of the term "Mormon Fundamentalist" it is the phrase used in the "Encyclopedia of Mormonism" to best describe groups with a belief in a Book of Mormon as well a early Mormon tenets such as Plural Marriage. It is almost universally used by theologians, historians and the press as the most acurate title.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Tobeyjaggle (talkcontribs) 23:30, 28 July 2005

That is correct. Tom Haws 19:32, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Relief Society

In the article it says that Relief Society meetings take place throughout the week, Relief Society is also linked. There should be some elaboration on this. Do they have a relief society organizaton apart from the Relief Society of The Church of jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? Isaac Crumm 03:17, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

They have a separate organization - although they believe that it is a continuation of the LDS Relief Society, so the link seems appropriate. --Tobey 20:02, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Racism?

Do they still have race restrictions on their priesthood? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.52.215.67 (talk) 06:11, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

Yes, the Apostolic United Brethren - like other Mormon Fundamentalist groups - does restrict Priesthood ordination. However, Mormon Fundamentalists might argue that race restrictions do not equate to racism. Judaism considers the tribe of Judah to have a special mission, and limits priesthood to the descendants of Aaron only. Yet few would consider the Jews to be racists because of this. --Tobey 08:08, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Temple photo?

At one point there was a photo of the AUB temple in Ozumba. IIRC, it was pulled for copyright issues. If anyone can produce a new one, it would be beneficial to this article and the one related to LDS temples. Surv1v4l1st(Talk|Contribs) 16:22, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Dose anyone know where in Ozumba the temple is? I would love to request a photo from some wikipians from Ozumba, but no one knows where it is.--ARTEST4ECHO (talk/contribs) 17:33, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
Looked on Flickr & couldn't find an existing image, but did find this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/swilsonmc/2664116913/
Might be useful image in this article (after being cropped), but I'm not sure on the whole Flickr license thing, so I can't tell if we could actually use it. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 17:44, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
