I've had a go at tidying it up, but I don't really understand what someone finding this article may be looking for, so I don't know what to leave in or not - anyone else want to have a go at it? I think it has just been copied and pasted from another source. Owl 22:34, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

The first paragraph is so, so wrong it could be just deleted. Argentina is an "austral nation". Austral means southern. Argentina is the southernmost part of the Southern Hemisphere together with Chile. The southernmost city in the world is Ushuaia, Argentina. "Austral" doesn't imply anything about the Falklands/Malvinas. And an article should never start with the word "despite". With regard to the sources, I'd like to see something that is online, just to check, but calling the Argentine Antarctic claimed territory "Frozen Lebensraum" (that's what I assume the source is doing) is a very clear implication of the author's intent, and hardly NPOV. FWIW, I've never seen that kind of ridiculous nationalistic thing since 1982. And the pronouncements about the Falklands are as frequent as vacuous.
