Didn't Spears play an evil robot double and -not- herself? Lots42 (talk) 23:56, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Nomenclature
Edited the nomenclature of "Teen" Austin Powers, Dr Evil, etc to "young" Austin Powers, Dr Evil, etc because 1) this is how the credits are listed in the actual movies, 2) the "young" versions of characters are usually listed as "young" in most movies and that is how they are searched, and 3) imdb also lists them as such. I will leave this change notice up for 3 months. If nobody objects, let the change stand. Also, if you find this note after 3 months from this post, I forgot to take it down, please remove this note if you'd be so kind. Thanks 8) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Enotdetcelfer (talk • contribs) 05:59, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
[edit] Smoke and a pancake ?
OK, I'll admit it. I don't get the "smoke and a pancake" jokes (flapjack and a cigarette, bong and a blintz, etc). Anyone care to explain ? Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.113.104.88 (talk) 05:46, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

- I don't get it. THere is no section labeled thus. Lots42 (talk) 11:42, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
[edit] accent!?!
on what planet is his accent german, case in point instead of FATHER he says FASHER this is very dutch, like instead of KEYS the dutch pronounce it like QUICHE —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.12.16.205 (talk) 10:51, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
- As a native Dutch speaker, I can assure you that his accent is not even close to sounding like a Dutch accent, instead sounding more similar to German accents I hear.82.176.211.89 (talk) 01:49, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
- The accent is an approximation of a Dutch accent as heard by English speakers (particularly American English speakers). None of the various Mike Myers accents are very accurate - Fat Bastard's Scottish accent doesn't sound very Scottish to Scots, and even Austin Powers's English accent sounds strange if you're English. Myers is Canadian, and these are American movies made for an American audience. --Ef80 (talk) 16:16, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
[edit] Goldmember - Goldfinger
'Whereas Goldfinger shoots his victims through the right eye.' Not really ... that was 'The man with the golden Gun' ;-)--178.3.233.247 (talk) 20:54, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
