The statement that "Foreign countries with BMAA (meaning Baptist Missionary Association of America, rlv) churches generally have a national association in their respective country" may appear contradictory, but if they are in fact part of the association under discussion in this article, then they, though in another country, are members of the BMAA (Baptist Missionary Association of America). - Rlvaughn 21:57, 28 Jan 2005 (UTC)

The Joe Early book details the Texas controversy that gave birth to the BMA. Would someone who knows how please fix it as a footnote? Thanks. - 216.62.168.234 16:33, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
