This page looks like a short, mixed amalgamation from the text of this page. I suspect it is a hoax - Skysmith 13:18, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
I don't think the term is a hoax. I have found what appears to be academic references to Bourbon Redeemers (ADAH: Alabama History). I'm not speaking on the merits of what appears in this article at the moment, however. James084 19:37, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
