[edit] Major Cleanup Needed

Large chunks of the "Governor of Oklahoma" section, and all but the last sentence of the "Personal Life" section of this article appear to be copied directly from the biography page on the Oklahoma Governor's website. I am not sure if this constitutes a copyright violation or not. --TommyBoy 01:05, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

Copying right out of a politician's official bio (http://www.governor.state.ok.us/gov_henry.php), now where have we seen this before on Wikipedia? PatDonovan130 06:20, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

This sounds like it was written by his staff it is so biased- whatever you think of the man, you can't simply list 'highlights' and talk about his 'sensible' reform on a neutral site. I don't know much about the man, so I can't edit, but if someone could make it more fact and less spin, that would help greatly.

[edit] Possible Fix

I was looking through Wikpedia and saw that this page had been in need of clean up since March 06 so I tried to fix that. I rewrote what was already on the page and added information from Governor Henry's fourth year in office.

[edit] Budget crisis

Henry took office during a major budget crisis which was resolved in a year or two (with an assist from rising oil prices). It would be nice to say something about that, since it's one of the major reasons he's so popular. He's really not a controversial figure, no major scandals, no foot-in-mouth disease, works well with the legislature. One of the state papers did an article on him and his staff doing a trip to Las Vegas, but it doesn't seem to be anything illegal and didn't affect his popularity at all.--Syd Henderson 18:40, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Personal Life and Family

Would it be appropriate to add information about Kim (his wife) and his daughters? I know some of that information is available on his website (and I think some from hers). Zja2 (talk) 18:41, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
