Anyone got any information on what this was like before the Canary Wharf redevelopment? The DLR page refers to it as a 'small wayside station'...

Can someone throw some light on why these three DLR stations (West India Quays, Canary Wharf and Heron Quays) are so near to each other? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.193.182.174 (talk) 08:51, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

They are on different sides of two of the former docks with water between them and no easy pedestrian connection.--DavidCane (talk) 21:57, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
