[edit] Can you get some sources on a few of these guys?
Jadakiss? Pastor Troy? Papoose? Keak Da Sneak? Daz Dillinger? Kurupt? DPG? You might as well say that Snoop Dogg is signing to Cash Money. Tom Danson 21:46, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Disappointing
There are hundreds of bad music entries on Wikipedia, but this has to be one of the worst. It's even more disappointing when one considers that Cash Money is one of the most important hip-hop labels of the past decade. Perhaps some of the dozens of wikipedians devoting their resources to the Notorious B.I.G. post should turn their attention to this instead. Infamous30 09:23, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hip Hop label
I realize the label started and spent its first 18 years as totally a hip hop label, and 99% of its output is still hip hop, but with its rock albums and potential country artist coming up, shouldn't it be considered changing its description to just American label? [edit] List of artists
There's already a list of the artists, it's a separate article at List of Cash Money artists. We shouldn't duplicate the information, because doing so will cause the lists to go out of sync, and plus it means people have to update two different places. If we think that the list is not so long that it should be included here, then we should merge that article into here; personally, my opinion is that it simply looks better to have the separate list because there are a lot of different artists. However, if consensus prefers the list here, we can move it here. But that needs to be decided by a group discussion here. Let me know if that's what you want to do; I can do the technical work to set up such a discussion.
Also, whichever way we do it, the only people that should be on these lists are either 1) people w/own wikipage verifying they are/were at CM; or 2) people with a valid, reliable source that verifies that they are/were at CM and are important artists. But, whichever you use, do not duplicate the list there. Per WP:NLIST, we can't list people without verifying that they are 1) important, and 2) actually worked at/for CM. - I have added a sentence to the history section. However, please note that if the lawsuit falls through, especially without gaining any more significant media traction, it should be removed from the article per WP:UNDUE. Also, I have no idea what the first sentence of this section means. Qwyrxian (talk) 00:10, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
