- Images: improve articles with images from commons; create pics and add them to commons as GFDL/CC-by/PD.
- Make sortable: Convert List of WPA World Nine-ball Champions, List of World Eight-ball Champions, and similar tables to the new class="wikitable sortable" type (as at IBSF World Billiards Championship)
- Add: finished pool player infobox (and snooker one if absent) to Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography/Infoboxes; {{Sport overview}} to main articles of cue games that are real sports; medal table tags where they apply (see Ding Junhui for example).
- Insert: Cue sports events (tournament results, etc.) into the "year in sports" categories (e.g. 1965 in sports), using {{subst:Cue sports heading}} if that year doesn't have one yet.
- Change: Dates of salient events in articles (tournaments, etc., not unimportant usages) to "year in sports" instead of "year" wikilinks (e.g. 1965).
- Replace: Soccer infobox at Thorsten Hohmann with pool one when it is finished.
- Some day: Seek Featured Topic status.
- Plunder: the French article; it does have some interesting tidbits, structure and images. Check out de.wikipedia, etc., as well.
- Inter-wiki: Improve simple:Billiards and foreign-language key articles.

Surprised to see there doesn't seem to be any detail of it's manufacture. The article would be much more useful if there were. Someone removed manufacture links. @24.57.201.174, your site is purely commercial. Wikipedia is not a collection of links. Please read the guidelines for external links. Feel free to wright about manufacturing of celluloid. It has been startet in the Formulation section, but keep commercial interests out. --Langbein Rise (talk) 08:27, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

I have finished a brief run down on Parkes' creation and failure, and I have added the important part about Spill persuing Hyatt's patenting of their similar product, the judge ruled Parkes as the rtue inventor but he wasn't around to worry about sadly, then again maybe this helped in the U.S. advances that took place after this final court case. I've just finished adding some details on Parkes at Alexander Parkes (reference added) and the D'Andrea article (added another source in the discussion section). (Parkes got an English patent #2359 in 1855 for 'parkesine'.) I'd agree that at least some of the stuff in the D'Andrea article belongs here.
The 'history' section under the term Plastics is an aching opportunity for improvement. (out of my bailiwick.) ... Parkes is the only subject there! Twang (talk) 08:54, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
