[edit] Tony Evora
I met Tony Evora when he worked at Oxford Brookes and he I remember him describing how he made the popular poster image of Che from the Kodura photo. I remember that he was well known for that at Brookes at the time. Googling for that I found http://www.focsle.org.uk/first/openport3.pdf
He was largely responsible for popularising the image of Che
Guevara (b. 1928), creating the bi-tonal graphic from Korda’s
photograph for publication in a Cuban journal of which he was then art
director. In 1968, he reworked the ‘logo’, superimposing it on a map of
Bolivia (Che was shot dead there, that year).
See also http://radar.brookes.ac.uk/radar/items/cca28252-7eb4-33f6-518d-3ba09dcd0b0c/1/ So is this claim substantiated by other sources? I was surprised it is not mentioned in this article. Billlion (talk) 18:24, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
[edit] Reversed "F"
I can't see the reversed "F" on the shoulder. —DIV (138.194.11.244 (talk) 06:32, 3 January 2012 (UTC))
