[edit] Untitled

I used to work at Conseco when Steve Hilbert was CEO. He has this *MASSIVE* house on the same street as the Conseco building. Everyday, he would ride his helicopter the 0.25 miles each way, rather than "deal with traffic." There is only 1 traffic light between the locations. The house is for sale now, listed at $20,000,000US. Local papers had a lot to say about financial abuses and being overpaid. Not really relevant to the article, but neat. --Legomancer 14:08, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

In the interest of looking less biased, here's Mr. Hilbert's response/webpage: http://www.stevenhilbert.com/ --Legomancer 14:14, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

Mr Hilbert's webpage is no longer available. It's a shame, too; I was looking for a more in-depth history of the Hilbert-era Conseco. I did find this, though: http://www.fundinguniverse.com/company-histories/Conseco-Inc-Company-History.html Alphapeta (talk) 13:45, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
