There are 2 Dongolas in Sudan: Old Dongola, which appears to be the center of Nubia for centuries, & this Dongola. I've created a stub at Old Dongola, so to encourage other contributors to be careful in distinguishing between the 2 cities. -- llywrch 02:52, 21 Jan 2005 (UTC)
[edit] photograph of pyramids
Your image of the pyramids is I think misplaced. As far as I know the image shows the pyramids shown are at Meroe, near Karima. Rb44 (talk) 17:10, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Attached photo (Pyramids)
I am from Dongola , I think there are no pyramids in or around Dongola even old-Dongola city. Can any editors change this photo? May be this pyramids from Kush civilizations in Merwi (South Dongola) in Karema and albarkal mountain area. (41.223.202.105 (talk) 18:54, 18 September 2009 (UTC))
