Dates?

The page states the team's finishing positions in international tournaments held in 1969, 1970 and 1971, but the infobox gives the date of the team's first international as 1972.....? - ChrisTheDude 12:36, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Crest picture

The crest pictured in the infobox confuses me, does the team actually wear that crest (with the single star above)? Or is that just a copy from the men's team? For those who don't know what I'm talking about, national teams usually wear a star for each World Cup championship, and the England women's team have never won. --Xyzzyva 17:50, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

No, they can't compete because England doesn't have a NOC (Britain does), and Scotland/Wales/NI are unwilling to compromise their status as a national team. Yohan euan o4 (talk) 19:02, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

Not the case for the men's team where an English side will take part representing Great Britain and Northern Ireland for the 2012 games, so I'm assuming that the same will be possible for the women's team. Otherwise, it's true, they don't normally compete 8lgm (talk) 08:33, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
