[edit] Disputed

There is a major issue with this article, which is that the AP/Fleetway was not "mainly" a publisher of comics. It was a giant newspaper and magazine empire that happened to include comics as one part of its output. Subsuming the history of the AP under Fleetway is also problematical. I'm sure sources can be found for a rewrite, but all I can immediately find online are either about the comics, or biographical pieces about Harmsworth, rather than about the history of the company. --Nicknack009 (talk) 18:45, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

I think that's a very good point, but one that's very easily addressed; we just remove "mainly" a publisher of comics. I agree with you as well on the wider issue of the Harmsworth's publishing empire, which was obviously immensely influential before the First World War and is hardly dealt with here at all. But so far as the "dispute" is concerned I intend to remove the tag and the disputed statement, and look forward to some much needed work being done on this article's expansion.
