Surely the article is wrong in claiming she was one of the gamblers in Casino Royale? This is either a mistake by some Bondian geek, or some idiot attempting mischief. She is retired, and presently living in California. Dolmance (talk) 04:32, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
For whatever reason, Anonymous User:195.50.93.237 put links into the name of Glynis Johns in her article resulting in it appearing as bolding. In other articles they used the standard triple ( ' ) to do this which I had reversed so they came to this article and changed tactics. Also, in the Laurence Harvey aricle they deliberately changed the IMDb link so that it would not work. Ted Wilkes
This article says Stratford Johns was her uncle. The Stratford Johns page says she was not. Can this be verified and fixed?Largo1965 10:52, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Is Glynis Welsh? She was born in South Africa to Welsh parents. But where did she grow up? How much time did she spend in Wales? Are there any articles where she comments on this or would it be better to identify her as British? -- SteveCrook (talk) 07:43, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

It's pretty outrageous that Johns was not awarded a damehood, and long before now at that, especially considering some of those so "honored": Vivienne Westwood, Gail Ronson, Harriet Walter, Paula Rego, Joan Bakewell, and of course, Elisabeth Schwarzkopf (who belonged to the Nazi Party in Germany).
