This article does not cite its sources, and some claims are highly suspect. I'd always thought that it was purely experimental, or if possible, than extremely expensive and pointless.

Definetly need some sources. Also, I just reverted some nonsense and general article mess-up. The tag says Clean-up. Anyway, I feel this should be merged into the Synthesis of noble metals article which is also in need of sources and clean-up. Vsmith 04:14, 3 December 2005 (UTC)
