[edit] South Africa
South Africa: Shaykh Seraj Hendricks, Head Mufti of Cape Town . Can someone confirm this for me and add it, I don't want to mislead out of ignorance if i'm not correct. --Huss4in (talk) 19:58, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
This whole page is pretty misleading since the term Grand Mufti is not equivalent to the head Mufti of a Muslim country. The term has definitely been used in Egypt and Palestine but I'm not convinced that the Ottoman shaykh al-Islam was the same position as a Grand Mufti. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.254.147.68 (talk) 17:42, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
[edit] Jordan
Jordan: Grand Mufti Nuh Ali Salman. Here's aother one. I'm talking about contemporary and current people, I urge people to contribute. --Huss4in (talk) 19:57, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Indonesia
- Indonesia: Grand Mufti Al-Habib Mohammad Ridwan Al-Jufrie was listed on the article, but comes up red-linked. Until a Grand Mufti has an actual wiki page, we cannot wiki-link him from the main Grand Mufti article. Feel free to create these pages, as the Grand Mufti of each nation is ipso facto a notable personage. Thanks.
