I am requested moving this page to The Offspring: Greatest Hits. This is a more natural name for the article, as apposed to the current one with parenthesis. It is also the name used for the subject for any practical purpose, as on iTunes and Amazon.com. – Zntrip 04:06, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

• Oppose: Wikipedia article titles are not based on what you think is more "natural". See WP:NAME#Album and song titles and band names. "The Offspring" is not part of the album's title. It is the name of the artist. The title of the album is simply Greatest Hits. This is evidenced on the band's official website, the All Music Guide, MusicBrainz, and many other reliable sources. Since this is a common title, disambiguations (the stuff in parentheses) are used after the title to distinguish it from other albums by other artists with the same title. This article is properly titled and should continue to follow the same naming conventions as the numerous other albums by other artists also titled Greatest Hits. Simply because iTunes and Amazon use a different style of disambiguation doesn't mean Wikipedia should conform to their style. Amazon and iTunes are, of course, trying to sell the album; the sources I'm listing here aren't and so they aren't bothered by the fact that the title is a rather common one. • Support or at least create a redirect per the Amazon.com and iTunes links per conventions of Napoleon I of France (common search term) versus Napoleon I of the French (his actual title). • Comment: The redirect already exists (see The Offspring: Greatest Hits), so a move is unnecessary esp. since it is already titled and disambiguated correctly. The redirect serves as a redundancy since, as you point out, there are other sources which list it differently such as Amazon and iTunes. --IllaZilla (talk) 08:15, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
