- Bring these Top Importance articles currently at GA status up to FA status: , Italian cuisine, Cuisine of the Thirteen Colonies, Coffee, Milk, Pasta, French cuisine
- Bring these High Importance articles currently at GA status up to FA status: Burger King
- Participate in project-related deletion discussions.
- Get rid of Trivia sections in articles you are working on.

- Assess: Rio Tinto Group, Stave Puzzles, Huawei, Category:Unassessed Companies articles
- Cleanup:
- Copyedit: work on Category:Companies articles needing attention
- Expand: Cameco, Japan Steel Works, Mrs. Fields, BW Gas, BAE Systems Information Technology, IndyMac Bank (in the news as of July 11), AIG
- Infobox: work on Category:Companies articles needing infoboxes
- Maintain: Portal:Companies
- NPOV: Alabama Cooperative Extension System, written almost entirely by a news and public affairs employee at ACES, so needs some neutral eyes to give it a going over to check for both neutrality, and layout/content inclusion, etc.
- Stubs: Category:Company stubs
- Wikify: Barry Callebaut, AED Oil Limited, IOCOM
- Other:
- Tag the pages of any company articles with the {{portal|Companies}} template
- Tag the talk pages of any company articles with the {{WikiProject Companies}} project banner
- Find editors who have shown interest in this subject and ask them if they would like to join our efforts
- Contribute to discussions on project guidelines and lists
