Talk:Indian-American

maybe the format of the article should be like the chinese american one or the flipino one?

[edit] rename title

I propose to move this to Indian American (without the dash). "Indian" should be an adjetive used to describe the particular type of "American." "Indian-American" sounds like a hybrid between an Indian and an American, which is a bad representation.

[edit] Hyphen Deletion

I wholeheartedly agree. The Indian is merely a qualifier in this case. Similar to "older American" or "blonde American."
