edit·history·watch·refresh 25 railtransportation.svg To-do list for Industrial railway:
  • Photos - add photos of industrial railways in several incarnations (narrow gauge, standard gauge, diesel, electric, etc)
  • Further expand the discussion of their use in hazardous locations, e.g. mining
  • Discuss motive power options that have been used, e.g. diesel, smokeless, electric, animal (like horse or mule)
  • Discuss what happens to the railraods and their equipment when they are no longer needed; for example, the Chicago tunnel railways described in Forty feet below: The story of Chicago's freight tunnels.

[edit] Suggested Merger

In the absence of objections, I propose to merge this article with the Tramway (industrial) article, and replace one of them with a redirect.Thewellman (talk) 19:12, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
