What is this an armored infantry division in western Iraq? I've seen something about forces infiltrating the Jordan border, but those were suposed to come from the regular OOB. I think I saw this on the this [1] website.JNi 14:24 Mar 10, 2003 (UTC)
[edit] Tanks and APCs
Iraq had only 800 tanks in both army and republican guards before the 2003 invasion including 375 T-72 according to CNN . also the APCs were limited to 248 IFVs according to interview with commander of the southern ( 2nd ) repubican guard corp commander .
