[edit] Al Moats?
Her brother is listed in the article as "Al Moats." Should the text read "Al Joyner"? The Flo-Jo article lists the relationships and "Al Joyner" is the brother of Jackie and the husband of Florence, respectively.
[edit] greatest according to SI?
"Sports Illustrated voted her the greatest female athlete of the 20th century." [No year given] The Wik article on Babe Didrikson says that SI voted her the greatest in 2000. Let's get the two articles in sync! Kdammers 01:44, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
- Sports Illustrated (for Women) actually rated Jackie Joyner the Greatest Female Athlete of the 20th Century (or for All Time??), with Babe Didrickson second. There is confusion, because on the Web, there is actually a list of five S.I. nominees for voting for this honor. In the list of nominees, the Babe was listed first (an arbitrary placement, maybe in alphabetical order). Jackie Joyner is also in that group of five nominees, and she won the balloting. Check the Sports Illustrated for Women Web site. D.A.W. 74.163.36.138 (talk) 15:14, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

[edit] JJK Foto
This is an article about one of the greatest athletes of the last century and "you" just have a foto with JJ behind the president? Awful. This needs help!Montell 74 (talk) 21:05, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
- Came in precisely just to post this, I'm glad someone agrees with me. 68.189.190.17 (talk) 22:56, 7 August 2011 (UTC)

- I found the photo in the wikipedia collection and posted it. Yeah I would love to see a better one, maybe someone would see the lame excuse for a photo and would put up a better one. Unfortunately, with the tight wikipedia standards for posting pictures, I don't have anything appropriate. In fact, the only pictures I can possibly locate of her that I took (technically, that I own the copyright to) were from almost 30 years ago, when she was just an unknown starting out. Photo: There is no person in white behind President Obama. The caption should be changed.
In the body of the article this sentence appears: "She scored 1,167 points during her collegiate career, which places her 19th all time for the Bruins games" Shouldn't the word "games" be deleted?
Overall a very poorly written article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.176.201.122 (talk) 23:08, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
