[edit] Not Even Close to Neutral!

This article is not even close to anything even resembling neutral. LPB is one of history's biggest screwups, and the article should mention his being so, but that's not a reason for the article to read like a hit-piece.

Thirdgen (talk) 06:27, 28 November 2011 (UTC)

I think the Wikipedia community is fairly open to your suggestion. You should consider initiating the edit since most of us do not have the inside scoop apart from what we read and hear in the news. Most of the edits pertaining to Iraq were submitted by GEOSWAN anyways. I don't speak on this person's behalf, but it would appear GEOSWAN would have agreed with you. Happy editing! [edit] Neocon Propaganda

This article reads like neo-con propaganda. I won't bother to get into a revert war with some of the "characters" behind this page, but I will advise anyone curious to find out some real facts about Paul Bremner and his responsibility for the carnage and corporate pillaging that enveloped Iraq to read Naomi Klein's "Shock Doctrine". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.155.145.170 (talk) 17:41, 15 February 2011 (UTC)

It is disgusting propaganda. Under the international law of occupation, an occupying power is fobidden from changing the structure of the occupied government, or changing any of the occupied countrys laws. How arrogant, to rewrite the laws of Iraq in English. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.105.179.241 (talk) 01:34, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Neutrality ?

I highly question the neutrality of this article. Perhaps the author(s) should consider a political debate forum. M.bestland (talk) 04:17, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

This poorly written article has been in its present state for close to 4 years now. If you don't, any change you make that could be construed as "pro-bremer" will be reverted by geo swan. Ronewirl (talk) 19:54, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
if citations are not provided I will revert those section - using my regular login.

Naomi Klein presented a lot of the problems with his administration in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qk-qBY-TiZg&list=LLJhI8Y13R8EKhDlJQy2vkRA&index=1&feature=plpp_video (bit.ly is blacklisted??? from talk pages???)70.113.72.73 (talk) 23:09, 22 January 2012 (UTC)

How is Naomi Klein connected to Iraq? She's a British subject under a constitutional monarchy which is a far cry from American politico policies. Ronewirl (talk) 03:33, 1 February 2012 (UTC)

[edit] The Poundstone Character in the Movie Green Zone

The character was, at most, partially inspired by Bremer and the people around him. This certainly doesn't warrant mention in the first paragraph of the article. I cut it out. 75.196.144.186 (talk) 18:40, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

I have seen this movie when it was released in theaters. It is now available on DVD for rent. Ronewirl (talk) 04:39, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=L._Paul_Bremer&diff=472575128&oldid=472447458 The inference has been deleted by an anonymous editor. This action should be noted. I agree with the deletion. Ambassador Bremer was never potrayed in the movie as Poundstone. No actor was cast as Bremer in the movie either. All you will find in this movie about Bremer is a scene where a TV is broadcasting a major news report..... OMG it took two years for someone to have the back bone to correct this. Ronewirl (talk) 03:46, 1 February 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Proposal to delete subsection "Personal Life"

I think this section is unnecessary and within two weeks time, I will be deleting the subsection. Any alternative suggestions welcomed; else, the change will take place. Ronewirl (talk) 05:02, 3 January 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Unaccounted for Funds

Since I don't have the insider's scoop about the alleged missing funds, does anyone have specifics on whether 6, 9, or 12 billion Iraqi dollars were found missing? I and many of America's 99% folks were probably confused about this too thinking the funds were from the blood, sweat, and tears of U.S. taxpayers. I think this section should address this issue AND explain "why" and "how" the American public was made to believe the missing funds came from U.S. taxpayers??????
