Deleted entry for Ang Lee. This list is of mainland film directors, Ang Lee is from Taiwan.
This list is slightly silly to focus only on directors "from the Mainland" especially if we're only basing that on place of birth (major HK directors, for example, who were born in China and emigrated at a very early age). I move to changing this to a list of Chinese-ethnicity film directors.Tryptofeng 22:37, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
