Talk:List of United Kingdom cities, towns and districts by population
Isn't this purely a list of Local Authority districts, but with London Boroughs all listed as one? Steven J 22:18, 16 October 2005 (UTC)
I concur. The London Boroughs should be split upMr ed 20:58, 21 October 2005 (UTC)
I'm not sure how instructive it would be to split up the London boroughs on a article caled List of UK cities etc. There's an argument of course for creating a new article! By the way, do we have any more accurate information on the source, eg year of publication, name of document etc? --Popeyedoyle 15:57, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
I suggest deleting "If that were the case, Manchester's population would be much higher - the Greater Manchester County for example has 2.5 million people, with millions more in the surrounding area." This is Mancunian propaganda and patent nonsense. If we're playing the built-up area game, Birmingham wins with about 2.65 million. 82.36.26.229 20:23, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
I suggest the article be split into urban districts (cities, towns) and rural districts. The present list contains both Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen, which is confusing. The Angel of Islington 23:38, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
