[edit] Sound of Music
I would remove it , Sound of Music is based in The true history of Marie von Trapp--User:Atenea26, 30th, may 2007, 15:49 (UTC)
- While Maria was indeed a real person, the story is highly fictionalized and the other sisters and mother abbess are not meant to represent any real persons. Leaving Maria off the list is appropriate, but the others should remain.Rockhopper10r 04:32, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Amen--Catholic, Baptist or something else?
From the 80s sitcom Amen, I notice that Deacon Fry is listed as a Catholic deacon, while Ruben Gregory, of the same church, is listed as Baptist. I was an occasional watcher of the television show, but I don't remember the church ever mentioning a denomination. I do recall one episode it was mentioned the church baptized by immersion. - Tripitaka from Journey to the West alias Monkey (Chan Buddhist monk) (yes, I know he's based on a real person but very fictionalised, far more so than Maria in The Sound of Music) m.e. (talk) 06:12, 9 March 2011 (UTC)|
