This should really organized by country (i.e., lead each line with the name of the country). Yikes! And again, "incumbent" is generally an adjective. One wonders... incumbent what? Moncrief 02:42, Apr 24, 2004 (UTC)

Should Bremer (and Iraq) really be on this page? Would they not make more sense on List of colonial governors in 2004, in the United States' section? -Rwv37 00:39, Jun 30, 2004 (UTC)

I believe the criteria we've been using for a country to be on the state leaders page is sovereignty, so Iraq under Bremer ought to be in colonial governors, yes. - Jonel 17:20, 30 Jun 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Article at 54k too long.

Wiki says this article at 564k is too long!

Should we spilt it?

Suggest something like this

  • List of state leaders in 2004 - Africa
  • List of state leaders in 2004 - Asia
  • List of state leaders in 2004 - Europe
  • List of state leaders in 2004 - Rest of World

The divisions in use are: 1 Africa 2 Asia 3 Australia and Oceania 4 Europe 5 Middle East 6 North America and the Caribbean 7 South America

It's a list, not an article. -- User:Docu

No reason to split a list. john k 18:12, 7 Apr 2005 (UTC)
