Volcker

The Volcker surname comes from Lubbeck, Germany. Many a Germanic family immigrated to Curacao and later to Puerto Rico as discussed in the German immigration to Puerto Rico article and as verified by Professor Ursula Acosta and the following verifiable source La Precencia Germanica en Puerto Rico, by Haydee Reichard de cancio PHd. Esteves mother's decendents may have come from Curaçao, however she did not, she was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico as his father, see: Major General Luis Raúl Esteves Völckers. The issue discussed in the article is the origins of his surname; Esteves=Spanish, Volckers=German regardless of the ethnic composition of the rest of his family. Thank you.
