I am glad that someone mentioned the street in New Orleans, Melpomene. I just want to add that there are consecutive streets in the Garden District for all of these muses.
what about the spelling "melphomene"? i have often seen the housing projects referenced with this spelling. Wbbigtymer 05:50, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
