Talk:Midwife
i am afraid i must speak up for those of us whose lives were ruined by this spoof boy band! i would hardly call their early work 'cover versions of various popular songs', more flogging to death once appreciated music. even less would i call this process 'singing'!!
i am willing to concede that they did raise a lot of money for the building fund project of our church, but at what emotional, mental and spiritual sacrifice on the part of the endurers? 'superb song writing talents', and 'hilarious stage presence' are phrases unfairly associated with this group. you may think i am being harsh, but believe me, if you'd had to sit through Cowboy's rendition of 'like i love you', or been made to watch the 3 hour rockumentary, or had to dance on stage to the Randolph song (to the theme of YMCA), you would be fully supporting me. someone must stand up for decency, good taste and music - the very things midwife seeks to destroy! i see it as my duty to attempt to regain all morsels of self-respect we as a group of students have been robbed of by this 'band'!
i do of course love each member of midwife dearly, and mean no personal insult or injury to anyone involved. i just beg you never to haunt me with your 'talents' again! the fan you love to hate!!! Big Steve xx
Somebody has shamelessly and outrageously changed the information on the midwife synopsis! Come fellow members of the band! We must unite to defend the good name of Midwife! Find the perpetrators! Make them listen to Midwife Crisis over and over again. And again. Make them love the haunting and stirring experience that is our music.
