[edit] 1974 Hoax

1974 Hoax: Fleshed out some of the details of the 1974 hoax eruption. 12.10.223.247 14:59, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Eruptions

Currently the eruptions are dated

 • 7220 BC
 • 3810 BC
 • 2202 BC ±100 years

The last looks like it has a typo, since the Global Volcanism Program says the last eruption was in "2220 BC ± 100 years". Given the lack of precision, I'd like to round them to the nearest century or millennium. Comments?

Furthermore the first sections says "Although it has not erupted in over 10,000 years it is not considered extinct". The discrepancy with the list of eruptions either needs explanation or repair. —jplflyer 25 March 2009
