Wondering how to edit this U.S. City Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Cities standards might help.

[edit] Status of Article

This article is a very rough draft, and was not proof-read to a great degree. I am currently working on getting the information from the State of Alaska's community information database copied over for each community, at which point I will come back through and start editing. If this message is still here, that means I have yet to come back. Of course, please feel free to clean this up, hopefully to conform with the WikiProject_Cities standards (or at least, as well as can be done for Alaska's unique villages and towns). Thanks!! —akghetto talk 02:44, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Population

Where did the population 549 info come from? — CharlotteWebb May 28, 2006

It's the state's estimate, as it says. DCCED, specifically. Note here. —Zero Gravitas 17:24, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

That 2000 census number is suspect in my view. Likely low due to the transit population with folks working slope jobs, fish camp, and people laying low and not wanting to be counted. While that said it does look like an inflow of folk filling in older building etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.152.176.227 (talkcontribs)
