I removed the quotes around Islamic terrorists, because they convey the sense of doubting quotes. An anonymous user reverted this change, reinstating the quotes, and stated that the quotes are original from a cited article.

Regardless of whether they were included in a cited article or not, having quotes around "Islamic terrorists" serves no discernable function in this wikipedia article besides conveying a sense of doubt about the validity of the term. If something about the term is disputed, that should be pointed out perhaps--but not by quotation marks around the term.

Certainly the attribution of the massacre is disputed - as is the appropriateness of the term "Islamic terrorists" even by those who agree that it was done by the Armed Islamic Group. If this is not quoted, it should not be used at all. - Mustafaa 20:04, 6 Apr 2005 (UTC)
