to merge or not to merge

Do you think this could stand on its own as it specifically is focusing on where, how, and why Ashkenazi settled in Northern European lands rather than the cultural and religious practices and later developments after the initial migration.

This should be merged to either Jewish Diaspora or Ashkenazim. Even the title makes it feel like a piece of a wider article, and it is not that long to justify a seperate article. --Goodoldpolonius2 17:35, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
