From WP:RfD:

  • Placeholderfree variables and bound variables. Most people would not think "placeholder" was a synonym for something connected to free variables and bound variables. ~~~~ 12:23, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)
    • Hmm. Well, I can see the rationale behind that link, although you're right, it's not the most obvious. I do think we need something there; several things do link here. Do you have a better suggestion for a target? (Placeholder name is not really appropriate; that's an article about the class of words used as placeholders.) Failing that, is there a potential article about this that's not a dic-def? Noel (talk) 17:23, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] DicDef

I know this is desperately close to a dicdef, and perhaps it should be one; the links to articles on related subject made me think that it might be OK as an article, though. Noel (talk) 6 July 2005 14:19 (UTC)

[edit] Placeholder Rule

How can a Placeholder Rule article be devised? I tried with the only knowledge I can find from Uni, the Interent, and professors but was deleted. Thanks --Funbangers 22:00, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] This article already exists

At Placeholder name so I am going to redirect to it. Abtract (talk) 07:47, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Disambigification

Thanks for the overhaul/cleanup, SlackerMom :) -- Quiddity (talk) 18:20, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome. I usually avoid doing "concepts". Too lazy, I guess. SlackerMom (talk) 18:31, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Chemical Elements Placeholder

I think placeholders for chemical elements (Systematic element name) should be mentioned too, but I do not know where to put them. alexzabbey (talk) 17:12, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
