Talk:Potwar
[edit] Kai Gohar reference.
The is a lot of contention on the issue of Kai Gohar being alive yet alone building roads in Potwar. In fact on the Gakhars page a month ago it was stated that his legends of being a Kayanid scion were 'fabulous' and that the Gakhars were Jatt origin i.e. Kokhars. Also the article highlights Kai Gohar being gifted it by Mahmud Ghazni in 10th century or so, then reads he built roads in 15th century?
This issue needs to be addressed there. But this page reads more of a Gakhar tribute than a Potwar article.
Potwar has many disctinct customs and peoples from many back grounds, tribes and the like. Essentially the whole of Potwar has NEVER been completely owned by the Gakhar or any other tribe. It has had very various regions within it controlled by different tribes so the references within the article seem quite biased.--Raja 15:18, 3 December 2005 (UTC)
