This song "Misirli" is originally a Turkish dance music. It can be heard in any wedding ceremony. As many others this is one of the common cultural values shared by both Turkish and Greek communities. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Organizing (talkcontribs) 03:19, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

The text inside the parentheses in the first sentence is misleading. Pump It (recorded 2004) was not featured in Pulp Fiction (1994) and in fact Pump It derives it's main tune from the opening credits music featured in Pulp Fiction. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.240.63.51 (talk) 07:17, 12 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Credit to Dick Dale

Considering a major portion of the song is Dick Dale's Misirlou, perhaps he should receive more mention in the article? James4v8 (talk) 00:11, 27 August 2011 (UTC)

Would also be worth knowing whether he got any money. It's not just his song, it's his sound... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.249.87.96 (talk) 06:12, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
