- I spent too long wondering whether it was spelt "gunging" or "gungeing". A whole lot of the thing needs expanding, so expect it to be explained later. Bagpuss
IIRC, the first couple of years the noses were that same, then they figured that cheapskates would dig them out of the cupboard each year and so hit upon the idea of changing them. There was definitely a furry one, I remember Lenny Henry wearing a furry suit the same year. Mintguy
