Saharan jatts are known to be very good farmers. According to H.S. Duleh's book, Jattan Da Itihas, Bhatti Rao had two sons named Saran Rao and Mangal Rao. Saran Rao seperated from his brothers due to the differences. His decendents were named Saharans. Mangal Rao's grandson Sidhu Rao started Sidhus. Saharans at one time, dominated a city in India, also called as Saharanpur. Saharan jatts are found in Sikhs, Hindus as well as Muslims. They are mostly found in Punjab(India and Pakistan), Haryana and Himachal Pradesh (India), D.G.Khan & Lodhran (Pakistan). Saharan jatts in Hindus are mostly in Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Other clans with same origin are Sran, Sras, Saran.
