The last few lines of the section regarding the mascot are unfounded. As a graduate of Southside High School, I can assure you that I have never heard anyone describe the mascot as un-American. It is simply a mascot, just like any other school has. The author of this section is stating an opinion, which is the opposite to what the purpose of an online encyclopedia is.

You do not need to be registered but it is encouraged that you do so. As far as the page goes, i don't think it needs to be deleted, but it needs to be moved to a page with a new name. Simply having it under "Southside High School." is misleading. There are many more high school in the US with that name than just this one. This article makes it seem that this is the only school anywhere that has the name "Southside HS."

BlueGlowGuardian, since you seem interested in keeping it, can you add a bit of school history and do a move to a new page with a more neutral name...perhaps maybe something like: Southside High School, Arkansas

Scotty, all the anonymous edits were made by me, I was just unable to log in when doing so. I changed and added a lot of school information.--BlueGlowGuardian 06:07, 10 September 2005 (UTC)

It seems like all of the statements that were controversial about the mascot have been removed, so I am going to go ahead and remove the non-neutrality tag at the top. (Cardsplayer4life 05:31, 19 December 2006 (UTC))
