[edit] Poland Spring?

Does Poland Spring actually use spring water or is it just a fib?

[edit] Image

Where's the actual spring in the image? Lisiate 23:55, 24 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Good point, I don't know. Maybe someone could upload a known spring and label it. HereToHelp 13:53, 16 October 2005 (UTC)
Assuming the description attached when uploading the picture was correct I have fixed this. Sfnhltb 14:56, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

The spring is where the water comes out of the earth, through the rock. It *is* in the picture.

[edit] Bottle

What relevance does the image of the bottle really have to the article? Should be removed.--Hatch68 02:50, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

I suppose the relevance could be that most peple drink spring water from a bottle. -Will Beback 04:06, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
Well it should be in a spring water article, not in an article about springs.--Hatch68 18:38, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Biology

Seems like a section on the biology of springs might be interesting.Dmccabe 04:06, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mythology

Is there anywhere on Wikipedia that discusses alleged magical, healing and spiritual qualities of springs and springwater worldwide - eg. Fountain of Youth, that Catholic thing in France , modern day snakeoilers etc.

If not, would not this page be the apt place to start building such material (in an encyclopedic NPOV manner)?--ZayZayEM (talk) 02:38, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Spring (hydrosphere)Spring (hydrology) – We obviously need a disambiguator here, but since "hydrology" is a far more commonly used word than "hydrosphere", I think "hydrology" would work better as a disambiguation term. Good Ol’factory (talk) 00:20, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
